Well I got up early today to trim my hedges and mow my lawn since I'm going outta town for a couple of days. My nephew wanted to run my slash so I let him at it! I started my hedge trimmer and no more than 10 minutes later the same police officer that stoped by before pulled up and said what's up!! He said someone complained again about a noise! He clearly saw that I wasn't running the XT and I was just trimming my hedges...but he also saw my nephew running my slash so we bought figured that whoever complained this time thought I was running the XT because they saw the RC!! He got fed up and asked his dispatcher who it was so he can have a talk to them...long and behold it wasn't the neighbor who I thought it was.....it was my neighbors 3 houses down and they weren't old!! They are the type of neighbors that never maintains their front and backyard...and most of all rich kids who party's a lot ,sleep late on behalf of mommy and daddies money!! (Don't get me wrong were not rich at all I work hard for my house and toys) the police officer said after he had a talk with them that said that they had a long night and was still sleeping!! (They definitely had a party last night) Then the police officer said to them that if he gets called back here about a noise complaint in the MORNING that he would give them a ticket reporting a false complaint! I said awesome that means I don't have to wait till 10am to run my XT!! He said nope I've got your back!!!
 
That's cool, but nobody should be running anything gas powered before 9AM just too keep the neighbors happy. My neighbor likes to mow his lawn at 6:30 Sunday mornings and it irritates the poop out of me, the grass is still wet! In my younger days I would've done something about it, but now I just deal with it.
 
True but some of my neighbors get there lawn mowed by a landscaping company as early as 730am and two of my neighbors are getting some sidings done and they start at 7am...I guess what I'm saying is that these guys party till 3am with tons of noise and a sh*t load of people. I don't complain about and I have to actually work the next morning!! But when they hear something loud and it make their head pound a lot more they call the cops! Were all hard working people in our neighborhood and we all understand why we turn on our power tools and gas powered stuff in the morning!! Personally if I'm bothering you tell it to me don't bother police officers and keep them from catching criminals!!
 
Dude that's crazy as hell. My neighbor woke me up by mowing his yard at 7 am one time and mowed around me as I went back to sleep. Lol. I feel the pain I have the same problem with my neighbor
 
I could never run 'em that early. I've got coffee in my hand until at least 10am LOL

You don't go out an mow your dirt?

Do you guys in AZ just cement in your back yard and paint it green or cover it in grass carpeting?

Nope they use painted rocks LOL.

My neighbors are alright here I run an air compressor till 10 pm sometimes and hammer away early in the morning sometimes oh yeah then there's my MT hehehe. But there at it bright and early in the morning so it all washes out.

I guess Maine is in the middle. You still mow during the summer, but for 3-4 months out of the year snow covers it. But, you have to plow your driveway for those 3-4 months :(
 
I guess I'm lucky living in Australia and having a country property to vist and run my RC's, the lads and I party well into the morning and run our RC's under lights without anyone else ever knowing, except that one time when we let off a.....better no go there, lets just say the neighbours 20k's away heard it......LOL
