I had a VW beetle, the old ones. Big piece of crap for me.....
That trailer would make a great comeback on todays new beetle. DOT would probably have a heyday with it though.

that is a great idea. i could use a 5th wheel trailer for my little toyota matrix. not sure how sturdy that hitch is on the roof, but i'de drive it..

I remember that ad....was in the early 50's...Have no clue why never took off
