Just a question.
What are you guys using for connecting your exhaust manifolds to the pipes?

I've tried all sorts of 'heat resistant, fuel resistant' tubing, but most get destroyed!

Specifically for me, I've a small outlet / manifold out of the engine on my FG MT, and connect it to the FG tuned pipe I have.

Hi James, it looks like this:

but in chrome finish.
Probably an old item, but quite lively and not too LOUD!!

The high-end Dom I had was certainly giving power, but losing neighbours' patience!! TOO LOUD MAN!!
I loved it to start, and you were the first to mention quieter pipes if I remember.

I agree now, and the Dom's long gone.

Agreed it's probably not the best, but it'll do for now.

Hi Barry.

That's the kind I had, but after a while of hard running, it looked like Seagull droppings at each end, and the Jubilee clips became loose - heat / fuel was attacking it.

Definitely didn't want 1 metre, but it's not going to deteriorate if I keep it away from direct sunlight .... as 1 metre's going to last a LONG time.

I was impatient but I could have asked them for a smaller length ...

Mine's got an extra 'red lining' inside the reinforced blue tubing as part of it.
We'll see once it's up and burning rubber again!!

The high temp silicone tubing from vrc is the best!

Looks like a red version of the blue stuff I had - without the extra liner.
I 'don't do red' - I'm an Evertonian!! LOL!

There again, if it had the fuel resistant lining that my blue tubing has, that's red, you wouldn't notice it that much.

Once it's all back together, I'll let you all know how it's going.
(Unless the 2nd son comes first, then priorities change .... for a while!!)
