Started the rampage for the first time for me today. She started, ran and idled perfect. The minor misshap was I lost two steering servo screws, cuz I did not locktite them.I was driving in my back yard on a shake down run. The feeling I got when she first poped (started) was like Dr. Frankenstien,"it`s alive",it`s running. You guy`s know what I mean, nothing like it ! So now I cant wait to get out to a bigger field than my small back yard. Now I have to master the video camera to make some videos. A good day, maybe cuz it was Mothers Day and had some help from the big guy!

I know what you mean the first fire up of the engine! I remember my first fire up of my first 1/5 ever! Now I get to relive that feeling once a year every spring after I completly tear down my 1/5 and fire it up for that 1st run of the year! Sorry to hear about your screw misshap. I hope it wasnt the horn screws! To make filming easier you might want to try a Joby Gorillapod. They are on ebay and best buy. I got the tip of mounting the Gorillapod to my transmitter from Mooman. I also had aid in picking out my flip ultra hd from kryptonite.

Thanks for the info on the gorillapod and the flip. Bought a flip ultra and the gorillapod to day.Really a neat set up. Thank`s again h.huey.

For onboard filming try the GoPro. I drilled lots of holes in my case to let more sound in. I have mounted it to my RCs and bicycle. Some people mount them to cars, surfboards, motorcycles, lots of things on the website. I use Nero 8 for video editing too. The go pro works in many differnt scales of RC.
