Guys i've been going insane lately can't play for more than a few weeks with out burning the trottle servo!

First was the original one! It lasted i'd say about two weeks, than i replaced it with a hi-tec 645mg it lasted about the same time so i whent and got a whatever brand is it from my kyosho it ran fine for two days and it died as well! So i got the new one i had laying around wich it is the original one that came with the second truck i got, and it died again! So can anyone please give me some light! Cuz am tired of replacing dam servos!

Could it be the receiver? Batteries? Anithing would help!

Thanks guys!

am using the original tx that came with it the 2.4ghz with the receiver am nope am not leaving the receiver on! as off now am gonna try and buy the traxxas 2075 waterproff servo and give it a shot if the problem continues am thinking on getting new radio system! radio/receiver!

Have you set the expos?

could be that when you full throttle or brake, your servo has pushed you linkage to its stopping point but the servo wants to keep going, this can burn servos out pritty fast

Being it is a stock radio and with the first servo burnt up which was the factory one. If you still have them, I would check the wiring and make sure your not pinching them together and causing a short. Or take them and plug them into the steering channel and see if they work. Also make sure nothing is binding or putting a load on it when applying throttle or brakes. And do check the end point setting on the radio. Make sure your not over throwing it. It sounds like the receiver is shorting them out. So before installing them, maybe pop it open and check to see if the board is shorted. Goodluck and keep us up to date.

as off now i've tried pretty much anything nothing seems to work once the receiver os turned on the throttle servo goes to full stop position and wants to be that way!

what now? should i try to bind a new receiver?
