Make sure your tank isnt vapor locking. Run it and when its doing that unscrew the gas cap and see if it runs better for a few minutes.

I had a similar problem. From one day to the other truck ran badly. The only thing I had

changed between those two days is fill the tank up. Turned out I had my fuel return hose

going to far into the tank but didn't notice because I always ran the tank at around the

halfway mark. Pulled the hose out a little and back to normal... :D

how far does that fuel return has to be?Ive never really paid attention to it

From what I recently read, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. When I replaced my fuel

tank grommet I just stuck it in there without paying attention to how far it

was going in...I had it almost 1 inch too far...hehe

Mine is about 3 inches in LOL....I will see if bringing it up will make a difference.Im just curious, why cant it go further in the tank?

My guess is that when it's in too far the fuel doesn't return into the tank

properly. Mine would not get enough fuel in the carb when the fuel line was

above that return hose. Make sure it's not in too far and try running again, see

what happens.

Did you put the tank together or was it like that already? Make sure you don't

pull up the line that's suppose to be long...

Ive brought that line up and its still doing the same thing :( ...I may have a carb problem.

I have my fuel cap drilled and I have a fuel line coming out of it to vent it.Is that enough?I also took that plastic cap inside the cap out and only using the rubber bulb. Its like the engine always have just one rpm.I have adjusted the needles in all position.Could it be the carb?
