Hey guys I am looking to add some bolt on hop ups to my engine. Like Carb intake filter and pipe. Ihereb a brand or site you recommend for these parts. by the way its for a exceed barca
With a 30.5cc fuelie.
 
I have check out that site before. But never seen much. I always looked under redcat. But I see most of the stuff I was looking for is under losi5.

barca is close to the baja but not exactly, some parts might fit trial and error on that, but i think your gonna have to go to the exceed/nitrorcx site to see what they offer
 
that 30cc engine is most likely a 29.cc, if you ever take the head off just measure the piston,and check if it has has any milling job inside done or copper head shims in place, had a few of those come thru on the work bench already
 
if i was you dude id just get a decent tuned pipe & depending on what carb you have an upgrade of your carb may help.

i wouldn't worry too much about modding your engine until you have at least fitted a tuned pipe as this alone will add alot more power/performance if its a decent one ;)
 
Thanks guy. I do have a new 8000 rpm clutch. I am look to do just bolt on. I want to do try a intake, bigger Carb, velocity stack and tuned pipe. Which I have found most at ddm. But a tuned pipe I have not found made for the barca. So I a still searching for one.
 
Just checked those out. Some good deals. But I don't know if they will fit. I have been looking for pipes for the redcat dunerunner also since they are the same biggie.
 
Looking over a few sites that have tuned pipes. But as I thought it has just made it hard to pick out which pipe I want. Side mount ,rear mount, cpi,jetpro,vrp just to name a few. So my question is what are the pros and cons of each brand and mount location.
