Engine moving towards front?

Hi,

My friend has an FG monster truck but we keep having trouble with the whole engine moving forward and causing the layer shaft to be to far away from the diff and causing the gears to slip.

Is this a common problem? The engine mount screws feel like they go in tight so i cannot understand why it keeps happening.

Any ideas would be great

I think you have some chassie flexing going on....
I have cleaned the where the engine mounts sit...real good..now on the bottom the the engine mount I use double back sticky tape....reset your engine on the chassie ..and tighten down...your bolts or screws...If you have plastic engine mount..put crazy glue
on the threads before screwing down tight....alloy engine mount use some blue lock tite
I done a chassie mod as well for flex..I yet to have any issue's.....I went thru 3 sets of gears and lay shafts...slawhammer
 
Thanks for the replys and tips i will give them ago.

They are plastic mounts at the moment. Would everyone recommend upgrading them to alloy? is it worth it?
