If I understood you correctly then I have the same problem.


All I do is every 10-15 minutes I stop rampage, open tank for 5 seconds or around that, and then close and drive it again.
 
If you'd like a new cap, dunerunner 2wd tanks were on clearance at redcatracing.com, they come cap and tank for $6? or around that.
 
maybe the clunk is plugged or crap in the tank from the leaky valve. you run for a bit, it sucks the crap into the clunk filter, it plugs then the return line pushes fuel back but it won't go to carb because it's blocked and comes out the cap.


local fish/aquarium store sells tank airators cheap, they make good replacement clunks. I got 2 for under $2 as spares
