Hi all. I'm was running a G260 in a FG MT 4*4. I put a 28.5 head kit on it but the quarry were I was having awesome fun decided it was gonna eat the engine. Can't figure out why as I was meticulous clening air filter and making sure it was well fitting. I guess the sand must have got in somewhere! Anyhoo I've ordered a stroked crank and 30.5 kit from Pitstop in Holland. Does anyone have any experience of these engines? Grateful for all your comments, also had catastrophic carb problems. Quarry again I guess?

Thanks. That's what I can't work out. Where the debris was gettin in? When I split the crank on old motor it was full of gritty crap. I'm just gonna avoid quarries and really dusty places. I will keep you posted re 30.5, it'll probably just rip the arse out of my truck and disappear down the road on it's own!
