Is there a big difference between a stock case with a race ported head and a race ported complete engine with case porting? Someone please explain it if you can. I will be buying a new engine after the holidays and I have plenty of time to research. I currently have a race ported 2mm crank 28.9cc head kit on a stock case.

You can flow port your own case with some cratex bits and a dremel. Porting realy needs to be done at the whole variable leval. Port the way you drive you can port for top end or low end torque. Your port work needs to match your pipe choice and gear ratio choice as well as your running area. do you have enough space to benefit from all top end porting.

These and other factors go into how you want to port your motor. Oh don't forget about addressing your port timing issue too.

Yeah I wouldn't touch it because I lack in experiance when it comes to porting. So I would be better off getting a 30.5cc engine instead of a kit. Thanks sprint
