Engine rev up before running out of fuel

Breaking my truck and things seem to be going pretty good but when it runs out of fuel it speeds and revs up really high. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I haven't been able to help the issue much. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post and if this is a really rudimentary question...newbie here

running empty runs unit lean at the very end , only way to fix that is NOT RUN IT EMPTY. it happens but its avoidable.

runtime alarm of some type will help you

500cc---> 24-26minutes , 700cc 30-32minutes

these are estimates of runtimes i experience, but it should get you in control of run session times without lean runout finish, which can result in lean seize , that will ruin your play

Yep, the speeding up is what we call leaned out. Not good for the rings, which then destroy the cylinder plating.
