Here are 2 photos for the new folks to look at. This will help keep the junk out of the flywheel-coil area. This is plastic window screen- Automotive Goop. I have used the plastic window screen on another eingine for about 1year, still looks good. -

on the pull strat i put the screen on the inside. looks alittle better i think. it's alittle tougher to do but works great.

I was wondering, what carb comes on the f270? wt-668?

I looked at the carb, its a wt 668. The screen on the outside may not look as good, i am into function not form.lol! When i blow off the dried grass, seeds, all sorts of flotsom -jetsom with the compressor, the screen is less likley to disloge on the outside. The carb on the engine is a 990. i should put the unused 668 on the thumper weed wacker -- just for giggles!!lol!

I run a dirt track ,is there anything you can use to cut down the dust & dirt from getting in ,it's killing my pull start , I have to pull it off every run or two and blow it out and dry lube it .thanks Roger

Quite expensive, but work great. I had one on my old baja 5b and had no problems with the pullstart.
