Engine stalls at idle

Hey fellas new here but I just brought a losi dbxl with stock 23cc engine how ever I asked the guy what mix ratio he was using he told me he didn't remember kind of odd but what ever . Anyway I ran it until his mixture was gone then added the VP fuel which I never had a problem with and now the truck wont stay running at idle on it's own but runs perfect if I'm on the throttle weather I'm at low or full.. any answers?

Was theVP fuel a premix? If Not did you add 2 stroke oil to it ? What ratio did you mix at ? Should be anywhere from 25:1 to 28 to1 .
 
Check the low needle, if its to rich the carb may be loading up and stalling try turning it in a 1/16th or so, you need to wait several seconds in between adjustments.
