Just put the jetpro side pipe on my xb, AWESOME, however I backed off my needle settings cause it was running like a raped squirrel! But it's making me wonder what the max temp ( or highest performance level) is on the 30cc , if I'm correct just like a nitro about 220 degrees. Also where on your engine would u take this reading?? Thanks for any input!!

I'm sure these 2stroke motors get hotter than 220 degrees and Nitros you can take up to 270 with no issues, poop I have ran my revo 3.3 at 300 and it still runs like a champ with 0 performance issues.

Ok 2 strokes are happy around 190 deg.So 200-300 is liveable.When the engine is excessivley hot top end will fall off.The best thing is to check the color of your plug and make shure you have enough oil in your fuel mix. Measure the temp. near the combustion area of the cylinder and where the mean (avg)heat is above the exhaust port and below the cylinder crown. Again 190-300 is ok. Above 320 is to hot. Hope this helps.

Temp isn't really important as some engines run hotter than others. As long as your needles are set properly it'll be fine.

I really like this! I just installed a OBR 30.5 motor and it runs on the 265 deg. Runs a scalded dog!
