Engine Warranty Question

I we flying around yesterday with my XB and it the engine shutdown. When I tried the pullstart the motor wouldnt turn over like it was locked. I thought I seized the motor. Turns out when diagnosing the problem two of the flywheel fins had broken off and also F'ed up my pullstart. I have probably in between 8 to 10 tanks through it. Would this be covered under the engine warranty? Just glad the motor didn't seize. LOL
 
That's pretty typical of these engines if you haven't screened the bottom of your crankcase. Outerwares and the Slammerdam are good ways to protect it. You can also screen it in yourself by cutting pieces from a grease strainer and JB welding them in place.
 
yea i had some what of the same problem i was runing mine mt..and it started knocking so i brought it in and check everything..found that one of the bolts behind the clutch came lose and was hiting the clutch put other bolt in and good as new
