I got a losi 5t has a rovan engine with a walbro 1107 carb

It takes a bit to startup but inces she running it runs good if i keep it above idle but if i put it to idle it dies

What can be the problem new top end today and carb

Im lost and starting to get tired of it

Hey man, I forgot to ask you did you happen to cross the lines on the carb by accident as that does happen. So the line that feeds fuel to the carb is on the bottom barb under the carb. The top line is the return, follow the lines back to the tank and look inside the tank. The line that feeds the fuel has the filter or clunk, the one that has nothing on it in the tank is the return and that belongs on the top next to the primer bulb.

There correct

Check that insulator, I usually put it on a good flat surface and shine a light at one side to see if I see light coming through under it. If you see light it's warped. Try to rock it side to side and if it does its warped.

I got a new insulator block ordered to if that’s my issue
bob on then fella (y),
what i meant above though was check that the pulse hole isnt partially blocked off by a piece of gasket, sometimes the gaskets get punched out and a small circle of gasket paper gets lodged and can partly block off the pulse hole from engine through the insulator to the carb,

also you say new top end and carb, are you relying on the carbs idle screw to be set correctly?
its a simple thing that can be easily overlooked, but may just be a case of the idle needs adjusting, especially if the engine runs fine above idle,
try turning the idle screw, the big silver one in
a quarter or half a turn, then adjust from there,
best off doing that with wheels removed or car on a stand with wheels off the ground though (y),
