Leopards are outstanding, esp for the price. The esc you speak of is originally made by fighter cat. When they work, they work well. IV ready too many people who have used one only to let out the magic smoke after a pack or 3. If you use them, check with Dan at kershaw about his warranty - he's usually pretty fair on that stuff.

If I had the money and wanted 12s, I'd be looking at mgm compro. These beasts don't come cheap though...

Check around on what the brushless 5ive guys are using other than mgm. They would have more experience with the 12s+ rigs.

I am interested in these two as well, The esc is actually made by Flier, that is what I heard from Bigfol here at hte forum. Did some investigating an d found it to be true.

Dan from Kershaw said he has had a couple of them bad from manufacturer. But if they go bad in the warranty period the y are normally just replaced. The leopard motor 56110 I don't know about, my 5698 is good but tends to run on the hot side. I was looking at this esc with a CC 2028 motor. Figuring if esc goes bad I can mate it to my xl2 esc.

Thanks. After more research I am split 50/50 on the Leopard 58110 & CC 2028.

Originally I was conceding the Lehnir 3080 but it is expensive and the extra power will not be used. In other words can't get any traction withe full power. That would be nice but not on a budget project.

Any one can tell me the spics on the castle creation 2028 motor. Can't find any details on it except what is published on the cc website.

That is published on the web site. I am more interested in max amps, max watts. The data that is not published.

Thanks man and congrats on your motor.
