Having some strange issues with the hobbywing ESC. After about five minutes of running reverse doesn't work. When I run on 4S I get about 15 minutes of run time then I hit my LV cut off. Checking my batteries on my charger it indicates about 20% remaining. So all is good!


On 6s I get less than 5 minutes of run time. Car stops running so I change batteries out thinking i have hit my LV cut off. When I check the batteries on my charger it indicates 65% remaining. So both my 4S and 6S batteries are 5000mah 30C. The ESC LV cut off is set to 3.0V. Lipo voltage is set to auto.


I have a CC 1717 motor with stock gearing. Any ideas???
 
i would try a higher c rating, some time the draw drops the packs voltage tremporarily below the cut off and i tricks the esc
 
I had the same problem with the ESC cutting off long before the batteries were drained. Mine was not under warranty any more, so It got canned. I am just glad it made the mistake of shutting off too early instead of over discharging the batteries.
