Has anyone ever ran an ESP modified engine. Found a killer deal on ebay. Got a modified/ported 27.2cc Zen for $250 plus $15 shipping, BRAND NEW!! Sells for $475 on DDMs website, so i couldnt pass it up. Was just wondering if anyone has ever ran this engine and their thoughts

I was looking at OBR engines when i ran across the ESP. Only issue i have with OBR is that every engine they build, the reccomend a $200+ pipe to go along with it. I didnt have the funds to put $500+ into an engine right now so i went the more cost effective route :) Also ordered a Dominator side mount on sell for $75 right now so i came out about $200 cheaper :)

I ran an ESP stroked 34cc last year, picked up an ESP race ported 34cc for this year. I have almost a tank through the new mill now and it seems to have a bit more top end than the stock ported stroker. I bought both motors as long block kits through DDM, so I got to put them together myself at much lower cost, the stroked motor I got on DOTD for $170 the ported stroker was full price $230. They both have lightened flywheels and bearing modded WT-1107 carbs

They recommend vrc pipes because that's all they sell. Any tuned pipe will work. Matter of fact I'll use a jetpro on my obr motor when I get it

i just went with a dominator side mount on clearance on DDM for $75

They told me the dominator pipes have too much back pressure for their engines

Just depends what powerbands you want. I don't care what they say every pipe gives different powerbands.. What powerbands are you looking for and which car or truck kit do you have

new engine and pipe arrived installed and ready for the first start up. Cant wait til tomorrow
