exaust coupler clamps

Any body ever seen any thing different than hose clamps to use on the exaust coupler hose?

I don't use hose clamps or zip ties. never had a problem with my Jetpro rear pipe. I do have about 4 feet of silicone coupler and change it every few weeks when it wears out
