looks identical!!! considering getting one of those but i don't have any clue about them...anybody have any experience?! i seen one video on youtube and it looks terribly slow but cant really judge by that..i just really like the MT's alot better myself...personal preference is all...i want hte most bang for buck...i don't have the heart to give up 1/5 scale but also don't want a piece of poo poo...i have a buddy who runs a 5t and i love that thing but damn that price tag sucks ass...

You would be rolling the dice getting a variation of a Rampage. It's possible that the diff outdrives are pre-version 3 style and you will have problems with them. Also, I don't know if my new belt drive layshaft will fit this truck. I'd hate for you to get stuck with a crappy two piece layshaft :) .

BTW, the forum owner will probably lock this thread once he sees it. We're not allowed to post stuff on Redcat "variations".

did not know that, very new to the world of forums! well thanks again for the help i already have a redcat myself i just like trying out new stuff but thats alot of money to spend jut to try something considering money is not really at hand all the time for me...i usually save 6 months to a year to afford one so im thinking i should just keep what i got and be happy i am fortunate enough to afford one at all..thanks for the help

No, you can post whatever you want on other HSP models. Whatever is good for the HSP brand is good for the Redcat growing popularity.

But, price and support are things you have to watch out for, as we can not be sure what other trucks are made of.
