Having a problem with my muffle box it keeps leaking thick black oil so I took the exhaust off the car and there's a thick layer of oil on the inside of the exhaust. Don't think it's the fuel ratio as I'm running 25/1.
:(

Hi Andrew, welcome to LSF.
You'll always get a bit of build up - these run with quite a lot of oil in as its the only source of engine lubrication.

How is the engine response?
What are the carburettor settings?

Generally they are ~1.25 LOW, 1.50 HIGH - every engine varies a little.
How is it at idle? Does it sound like it's about to stall - just might be a little fuel rich?

How smokey is it in general running, and particularly full bore?

I would look at the plug, spark, and engine tuning.

The carbs at its stock settings and there's a good idle, good engine response but there is quite abit of smoke from the exhaust. Do you think I should just lean it a little or change the 2 stroke

There are a couple of good engine tuning videos on this Forum somewhere.
Take a look at them first, then consider if you need to tune it.
Trip did a quick and simple way to tune up about 2 years ago.
