hi guys :)

anyone tell me where i can order some exhaust studs from (ones that go through manifold into the head instead of using bolts) in the UK?

ta :)

there called

Hollow Point RC High Strength Exhaust Studs, but i cant find them in the uk :(

could ask MMR and see if they have them, they might not show it on there site
but sometimes they have stuff...

yep, just looked em up,

that's just some 10.9 threaded bar, and uses double nuts to lock it off. The reason that doesn't come undone is the double nuts and spring washer wich takes up the thermal expansion. There's still a risk of it unscrewing from the head if you don't torque it up correctly (after a few months the stud will cold-weld to the head like any dissimilar metal assembly, so not likely to come loose after that).

in all honesty, common or garden threaded bar is enough since the torque you can apply is limited by the thread in the aluminium head.

you can also use the headless bolts/pins that fg use to bolt the rear parts of the rollcage together i done this when i had a jetpro fitted
