exhuast leaking?

iight im about done with breakend and when i was geting ready to put my body on i could feel air around the exhuast its only in one place..i got a video im uploading now..so i can show yall

Put a good gasket on there and tighten it down. Use red loctite on the bolts

yes its supposed to do that. there is a fan in the front of the engine(part of the flywheel) that blows air across the cooling fins while you are stopped so it wont overheat. thats what the black plastic shroud on the engine is there for, it directs the air around the head

I use a high heat gasket maker. form a gasket self hardening formula. I not only coat the gasket with this stuff but it works good for header bolts too.


when we are trying to remove bolts with loktite on them, we use heat right? so using loktite on head bolts is counter productive. I rarely have a header bolt come loose anymore
