ha. so with my redcat rampage xbe i ordered 2 sets of stock batteries, 1 of each pair has now expanded to something like 2x their normal thickness, i switched to deans connectors straight away and didnt run much before. they work fine still but im wondering if the batteries are just plop in general or is it a common fault ectect, if so are there any recomendations on how to stop this happening in the future with new sets i buy?

Puffy Lipo's are not good. Keep an eye on them. Swelling generally happens when they've been excessively discharged.

cheers for that. the one is refusing to charge now, have been looking on my website for 3s batteries, im thinking maybe upgrading to the mamba xl v2 over the summer but unsure what im gonna do with the motor ectect
