I've tried to make it bigger i have given up on it now sorry guys!
Yes it will make it more stable and improve the handling in a big way also widened the front end! So the front is as wide as the rear now!

Good job Marder69. I love to see things like this. That shell looks too small for it now, especially the front. Very nice shell nevertheless. Plenty of room for the radio tray area now...:)

Thats why i went for it! I have to run 2 4100miah battries to run the servo's and it was all jammed in now there is loads of room! There is no flex in the chassis at all i tried to bend it and it wouldn't move! Your right about the shell!

When I have time to make the longer chassis for my MT (to better fit with the STX shell), I'll just keep the same thickness but run 2 square bars parallel to the chassis at the bottom. IMO, it will offer the stiffness we need and lesser weight. What ya think ?

I thought about that way! but then i thought why have cotten when you can have silk! you wont regret getting one! there is a company in germany making them and they come ready to mount! I had to mod alot of other stuff but there aint much differnce in weight between the two chassis's! And what i payed for it didn't brake the bank!

Hehe, it looks superb!

I wonder how good it will do together with my Hummer-body.
There will probably be som fitting-issiues... With the side-panels & rollcage too.

By the way, did the front-plate come standard? And with the holes predrilled if so?

Thanks!

The plate came with holes drilled but you need to drill and tap your chassis! But i'm sure it's going to stop the front kick up bending in a crash! I would of thought your hummer shell would still fit ok!!!!
