I just got a new set of blue brake discs from extreme racing, but i have read that the brake pads has to be removed. This discs are suposed to be used without the brake pads?

As stated,

TEAM LOSI DESERT BUGGY XL BLUE BRAKE DISK (2)REPLACES STOCK METAL BRAKE DISK. MADE FROM 3mm MATERIAL
*** INCLUDED WITH ITEM ***
2 - BRAKE DISK
*** NOTE ***
REMOVE BRAKE PADS BEFORE USING

MADE IN USA

because the disc is fibre material so are your pads. if you used fibre pads on fibre disc its no good. so you remove the pads n the steel backing grip the fibre disc

That ASSUMES that you are already using fibre brake pads, how many people do?
I bet there's more that don't than do...lol

Mike I'd ignore it, the braking system simply cannot operate without the combination of discs and pads, that is provided that your not using fibre pads...lol

sorry I've not received my dbxl yet. i thought it had the fibre style pads on steel discs. n you issue was fitting a fibre disk. my bad
