You want a killer bee killswitch thats compatible with your radio, this will kill you engine if it loses signal

Common question - and no insult intended.
Same answer each time.

Failsafe IS necessary, but don't forget, it relies on power remaining in your battery, and the throttle / brake servo working correctly - linkages OK, servo horn in place.
Upon failure of radio signal it will return your throttle / brake servo to the preset position - normally 2/3 - full brakes.
IT NEEDS POWER, but IT WILL NOT CUT YOUR ENGINE.

This is where the REMOTE KILL SWITCHES like the Killer Bee come in - an absolute essential for our hobby - 12-18kg cars/trucks capable of 40mph or more.
The remote kill switch can be used to kill the engine whenever the operator requires and/or will kill the engine instantly if no power and/or no radio signal is received.

A combination of FAILSAFE (generally included in all good quality radio sets anyway) together with REMOTE KILL SWITCH are both required / preferred.
