Some Killer bee's wont work with the DX3s,make sure you enquire about it before you buy.

I have a DX3s with a pico switch running off the Aux port which I activate with the remote start button (or by turning the tx off, going out of range, etc) works great but means that you can not use the 3rd channel for anything else (like a second steering servo)
if you need the third channel for something else then I suggest you just get a killer bee, just make sure you get the right one because the built in failsafe on the spekky Rx over-rides most kill switches, leaving your pride and joy heading out over the hills....

The Spektrum has a 'failsafe' built into it - hold the throttle brake where you want it to default if you lose contact - normally about half brake.
The Kill Switch kills the ignition.
V2-S is correct. Mine - SO FAR !!! - is perfect.

... to complete the explanation ... hold the throttle brake where you want it to default when you're binding the receiver with the transmitter. Sorry.
