just got a rampage mt, out of the box i charged the rechargable truck battery overnight, first time out truck worked fine for 15 min then the fail safe kicks in if you wait 30 sec it will go agian for few second some time minutes the fail safe kicks in, 1/4 tank gas is all i used before i gave up


next day charged battery 7hours, truck worked fine for 10 min the failsafe kicks in, wait 30 seconds or so then will work again for 30 seconds sometimes a minute the failsafe kicks inagain


finally got the first tank of gas through it, do i have a bad battery maybe or ??


any ideas this is my first 1/5 scale and first time using a failsafe
 
Sounds like your having a voltage drop problem. Those big MT tires can draw alot of juice from the steering servos especially if ur running duel steering servos. Upgrading the battery to a higher capacity such as a 4800-5200 mah can solve that problem as long as they are charged right.
