Hi Stangrey

Im not sure, ive just emailed Sean at Oneill brothers to find out! , don't think thats the new one as its long lod and not sure thats better for more torque!

So far They recommend the 30.5 full mod $549 engine as the best for torque and monster trucks ,although they give slightly less power than the lod rod versions.

When i get a reply ill let you know!

don't fall in to the 'power trap' take friendly advice from me i have had a few very wild engines in my time,i now run a standard engine 26cc zenoah and also have 'race' engines which i use too and trust me when i say to you that it all comes down to the gearing and set up.

firstly for 'onroad' and 'offroad' (racers) the more powerfull engine of course is a must, but even still you are talking of 1/10ths of laps.

for bashers the zenoah stock 26cc is a must and nothng more needed,i now run a leopard race 2 comp (just got it) and it's a rocket with the gearing it uses, also the pipe is just awesome!!

as a basher please don't line the 'tuners' pockets as you WON'T see the gains,go for a decent pipe and gearing.

like i say i have had nutty engines and a lot of it for bashers comes down to gearing, you can get more than enough speed and power from the 26cc zenoah with a decent pipe and clutch.

decky

to finish the above post i just wrote
concentrate on getting the power to the ground first, when you can even get all the power to the ground from the 26cc then try and put it to the ground with the bigger engine,i will shake your hand when you do, the stock 26cc spins out on my leopard always,it uses a modified blue spring clutch.

concentrate on set ups and gearing!

No the mosterman motor is not the latest thing they are going to come out with they have something else up there sleeve. Sean said it should be just a little longer before they announce it. He just posted this today on HBF.

Okay thanks , ill be patient then and wait to see what it is!, ill keep checking out thier site for news!

i bash on big areas, the stock engines are ok until they don't have the power to be able to push the taller gears, a tuned pipe makes great power but if you already have a pipe but want more, then get a ported motor, on track a standard 26 is fine but for bashing it gets left behind and gets boring, i have loads of different gear ratios, i mean loads!, like i said, you can only go so high until the power is not enough.wach some videos on utube, a stock engine with a good pipe will push 50 to 55mph on a buggy, go ported and 70 to 90mph is easilt acheivable, you may not want to go that fast, but the power will be there, see a huge difference in acceleration from 20mph to 60mph.
