First actual 1/5 scale race with transponders and such. I think there were 10 trucks or so wish the turnout was better but was a good time. I am used to the track being very slippery so have a lot of rear brake to get the truck to rotate. The dirt on the track has a lot of clay and when wet is very tacky which did not work well with my setup as I had some traction rolls.
Anyways was a fun day, here is a vid of qualifying and main event. Something was bugging out with killer bee rc kill switch and then the throttle servo fried towards end of the main. I think I had to much travel and just overheated it. I also remembered that I replaced the stock engine cover and forgot to trim it to clear the throttle linkage. Qualify I was running 90% throttle and realized it right before start of main and turned up the thottle travel. The truck got stuck half throttle at the end and I was going to try and finish with no brakes or throttle but as you can see it did not work out well. I killed the engine and started walking down the drivers stand and heard the sound of my truck, looked over and it was flying towards me luckily I caught it in mid air and someone nearby helped shut it off quick.
I was running a 0236 savox on throttle with lipo. After failure you couldnt even touch the servo. I have cnc, water jet, etc connections so I am going to see if I can design I heatsink to fit over the servos. I am not sure if they have them for this size servo does anyone know?
First vid is of 2nd qualifying round which is better footage as the camera got knocked down in the main. The main event is edited in a different format as it was too big. Quality is a little lower. Second video will be posted when uploaded.

Part of main event with stuck throttle at end.
