Is I'm sure you already know the three shafts are not in a straight line. If you draw a line from the clutch bell shaft to the lay shaft, the center shaft is below the line. It is a longer path for the belt to follow on the other side. The belt is not long enough to run it on the top down to the bottom side of the tension pulley.Awesome. Did you run into any problems with the cover? I was thinking about getting one and running the belt under the belt tensioner, it looks like there's plenty of clearance.
Burs? Sorry I am kinda noobcordy said:Yes thats a stock gear plate. I had to file the burs left from the taping for the set screws on the two alum pulleys , this was done to allow the pulleys to slip on to the shafts easily.
