forget about fixing your body it will just get smashed up....
best bet is to buy a long rear bumper to protect the rear on your body....

Andy....

If you want a good all around pipe look at the CPI. Does not have quite the low end of some but is much better through all the other RPM range. But has plenty of low end. They make one specially for the SC. I run both the standard and big bore CPI pipes on my 5b and have been more then pleased with them. The standard pipe sure woke up my stock 26 and the big bore seems to work well on my race ported 30.5 but since I only have 3 tanks on that motor cannot really say till I get more time on it if this damn heat goes away.

Sorry to hear about you crash but this is part of the hobby!
best way to repair your broken body is to use dry wall tape and shoe goo

Thanks for the link. If I damaged the body 6 months from now, it would not be so bad. But, on the first day - first hour. That stunk.
I will try to fix the body so I feel better.

I will look into the pipe. It is loud now - just like a weed whacker. LOL

Thanks for all the info. If you have anymore ideas or suggestions, please post.

Thanks again

If you feel it is loud now you might wanna run a silenced pipe. A Dominator or CPI or any unsilenced pipe is gonna be WAY louder than your stock muffler......:)

Thanks Matt, This is on my list of mods to get. I ordered the upgraded slipper clutch and bead locks for the wheels yesterday. The muffler is next. I think I will buy the suspension upgrades but will not install them till the stock parts break.

I recommend putting the Turtle Racing heavy duty front upper mount and the Scorpion front chassis brace. The kick up in the front of the chase is known for getting bent if you hit some thing or land nose first off a jump. I have both and in my 3 years of running my 5b SS have hit and landed on my nose MANY times and my chassis is still straight. Keep in mind the SC and T are about 6 pounds heaver out of the box then the 5b.

Great tip, I will be adding this to my list.
