FG 34cc gear help

So I saw a vid on yt?. The guy was running a Evo with 34cc engine. So he basically was spinning and car ran fine but when he tried to do speed runs it hit about 46 and runs out of steam. Car can't reach any higher because of gearing.
So I explained this and now trying get him help in increasing top speed. So any advise on gearing for him to try with the 34cc?.
I invited him to come checkout the forum also.?

don't know if this is what your looking for but it's a fg gearing set. Actually came off FG sight.

No I think he's looking for the best gearing to try ie: pinion / spur gear to achieve higher top speed. I can never remember how it goes. It's a 2wd Evo with a 34cc engine. So low end torque but I don't know what to suggest. So Im asking the "experts" for any help in achieving that goal of increasing top end with that 34c engine.

Bigger the pinion and the smaller the spur = more speed less torque??
But I'm sure you know this???
