fg 7451 2 speed ratios?????

Hey guys ...

just wondering what the ratios for a 2 speed FG 7451 are ...I have been seeing 18 /20 pinion and 46 /44 spur......

Is this rite .....Im trying to order steel gears....should I do all steel or just pinions or just spurs.....

That's the off road buggy gearing, I go for steel pinions but leave the spurs as plastic to keep a 'weak link' in the drive chain.

Your weak link in the FG drive train until you upgrade to balls will be the out drives. Even with plastic gears you will take out an outdrive before you blow a gear if jammed. JMO.
