FG Alloy parts question

Hmm.

That is strange as some parts look like they are cast ??

Some do look machined though with traces of CNC cutter head end run

Elcon parts look a bit different than FG .


I do believe cast is cheaper to make and maybe they finish up with machining after ?
 
All FG alloy parts are cnc machined.

HARM parts look different to Lauterbacher, Genius parts look different to contrast.

If they were all the same, life would be boring.
 
the other thing to watch out for with fg alloy is the chineseium cloned stuff popping up on ebay thats cast and not that great but cheap,,you get what you pay for,me i wouldnt even bother with it

Yeah I looked at china clone BS parts . I can only imagine how soft and cheap they are.

My Leopard is smiling with original German parts indeed

My Harm alloy does look nicer finished for sure compared to FG .

Must admit I was confused by the question.
FG alloy is most definitely of a very high quality - it appears to simply clean up and clean up time and time again - and take big hits!!
Some of those Chinese cloned parts aren't all cast - keep looking. Some are actually quite good.
