FG Ally Shocks

How do you get the small red o-rings into place Voo? Do they just squeeze in through the end where the shaft comes out?

Found the FG exploded view in the marder race details......

I guess its just patience and plenty of swearing to get the old o-rings out of the shock body through the end where the shaft comes out.

Dwarfy they just bend twist and pop in there..I have o ring picks to help but a small blunt flat screwdriver will help to push them in nicely..and all should be well


does anybody have the british standard o ring size for these or the metric sizes.?

I will be doing this shortly myself

Grab a paper clip and make a small bend at about 45 deg and only about 2-3mm long and use that to hook behind the seal and pop it out

well im a hydraulic engineer to trade so soon as i strip mine out i will measure them up and let you know as I will buy the seals from my old work for about £1 for them all.

I have always hated having to buy kits when i don't know the sizes..so easy to buy them ..they must have 1000+ different sizes in stock too..lol
