They are both identical.

The walbro 813 and 990 are different in that they are chokeless carbs. They incorporate a pump so when you move the throttle they pump fuel through to the engine.

The 990 does not have a pump. It is the same as the 668 and 603 except it does not have a choke.

go the 668, holds a tune better than the rest and prolly the cheapest of the lot.

Still time to check out Dave's Discount Motors' offer of the Walbro 813 if Customs don't block you. Much cheaper than normal and a good carb - they've all got their faults!!

i found the 813 very tempramental and hard to tune, got 668's in all my cars now.

The 990 does not have a pump. It is the same as the 668 and 603 except it does not have a choke.

Ah right! I thought it was the revised version of the 813
