Elcon used to do XL arms for them but they've been discontinued so unless you can find a shop that has some old stock then you might be stuck, I have 17mm squares on the front and 14mm squares on the back which is the biggest you can fit.

What probs are you havin to want to widen it mate???

;) If it ain't broke, bash it till it is ;)

I'm guessing you want it wider to try and kill off some of the grip roll..
Sadly as has already been said Elcon no longer do the xl bits so its 2nd hand or old stock.

the best thing you can do with your handling is to sit down and measure everything and make sure you have it all set up the same on both sides..

I.e camber /toe in and out is all the same from side to side..
take off your shocks and make sure the arms drop under their own weight..
just making sure everything works as designed..its amazing how well it works then..
possibly somebody will have a good set up that works....I cant measure mine for you just now as I have it stripped down again..

also try a front anti roll bar...it works for me...

Pinched this from an all fg site called www.fg-info.co.uk, if you have measuring equipment then give this a try.......

Front

Toe out between 5mm & 8mm

17mm square drive blocks with these axles http://rc-car-online-shop.de/shop/en/pr ... 1pce-.html
for maximum width

3000wt oil in the shocks

Rear

Toe in 3 degrees
Camber 3 degrees pushed down
2000wt oil in the shocks

For anti squat put 2 washers between the chassis and the forward lower ball joint.

14mm square drive blocks for maximum width.

keep the chassis level by altering the ride height on the shockers with the adjuster screws or clips. The rear wishbone should be level with the bench at rest.

Droop. Sit the car on a box or stand so all 4 wheels are off the bench and all the suspention is free to move. Mount the shockers on the lower mount only. Adjust the front droop screw so that the shock JUST slides on the top mounting bolt with little or no compression. The rears can be done like this but more likely will have to be done so the angle isn't so servere that the drive shafts bind up.

This was my base set up and then just adjusted from there to find the sweet spot, I don't run roll bars as they didn't make any difference to the way my car handled and you will get mixed opinions on them but as wez said it works for him so give it a try ;)

Hi thank people my car keeps rolling wen
Turning so though makeing it wider will help
And make it more stable..... And to sort out
The grip roll I've got 3 of them and setting
Them all up differnt to find wot is the best settings.

Think it's a common thing with them mate, try adjusting you driving style a tad by slowin down b4 turnin and accelerating after it worked for me as I was a real trigger happy driver and it flipped all the time but now it only happens when I get giddy

Yeah I think I'll go for them.. Would u think Putin the rear
Wide wheels on the front will keep it abit more
Stable too???

as a marder owner, ive had the griproll problem from the start, now i use a less grippy tyre on the front and try to slow a little more before i turn.
the xtm arms are longer as are the dogbones, but not by much, wider wheels(offset) may help widen.
ive tried difffferent things but have now finally excepted that it will griproll, so have changed the way i drive it.
my fg's seem to dig right in when turning at a desent speed whereas the hpi bajas etc, seem to oversteer and drift through a corner.

ive actually started using the marder for drag racing etc with mates , suits the car well lol.

ps, i have a set of the very large wheel squares pictured above, was going to use them on the front anf wide fg baja wheels on the rear but even with fg 65mm axels it wont fit.

Too bad they don't make the xl arms anymore....

Just get the wherl adaptors where u can use the hpibaja tyres with that itself youll get ut to be a bit wider and wont have to spend too much its 85$ on ddm. N u can use hpi baja tyres too.
