ok lads i want to ask you all what you think are the best fg screw kits?
i have literaly tryed loads of screw kits from modelshops and they turned out to be quite crap i must say firstly in terms of quality(heads) and secondly nearly ever bloody set i bought were missing the vital engine and diff underneath the chassis(countersunk ones) and that is quite anoying, anyway out of sheer anoyance i just ordered a few sets from differnt companys to try out,the best iv seen so far (which iv ordered and waiting my delevery)are fast eddys kits, stainless steel, they look quite good in fairness, could be the end of my screwing problems haha:clown:
so what are yer thoughts on this one then?

best thing to do it get all your sizes you need and go to your local hardware store and ask for the strongest they have you want no less than 10.9 grade but 12.9 would be better

hows the going,do you tune engine engines, hense your name evo tuning?
yes thats true, but i have went to most hardware shops and most of them are hopeless with precise screws, especially alloy small threads screws.

hi yes i tune rc car engines

my website is www.stevesracingbits.co.uk and i am based in the uk

i also work part time for kingcobra distribution

my engines are fully ported either for racing or bashing or as some customers request unreliable power lol. they are all finished off with scuff polish on the inlet, polished transfers and mirror polished exhaust ports,

www.rcdemon.co.uk is the uk distributer for the engines at the moment
but i do take on customers own cylinders and engines for private work

best regards stevo

tony's screws are probably the best, I've never rounded one of the hexes yet.

he doesn't sell fg kits but you can order what you need
steel alloy grade 12.9 metric, 8.8 sae
I second that. I have bought lots of different screw kits, and Tony's have by far been the highest quality. Just make a list of what you need hit the website and add em to the cart.
