FG Brake Disc

I posted this question in my last post about a different issue but I thought I should ask it here so it gets noticed.

Ill be putting back the FG MT tonight after removing rear end and clutch bell. The brake disc is of a bit of a concern to me. From what I can see after removing the only thing holding it in place is a square block which the disc loosley sits on and the two metal pads that clamp together to slow the truck down.

I find it hard to believe this is the only thing holding the brake disc in place but I could be wrong.

Am I worrying about nothing? Is this how it should be?

Thats it. In the square block there should be a grub screw that locks onto the lay shaft.
