fg disk brake question

Hi i own a fg monster beetle with frint disk brake. Can i remove the ring that keep the disk front comming out. I would put some 24mm hex adapter to put hpi baja tire on it. So the disk would be retain only by the caliper ?

i was wondering about this conversion the other week, there are hex adaptors available out there to interchange wheels, though i think you'd have to get a disc to suit the hex..

there are adapters from tps that incoperate the squares of the fg's so you can still run fg front brakes and use the hpi baja wheels, i think there about £40 from pitstop

i run the wheel wizards and yes they are comptiable with the disc brake kit.
