just as the title says a 4 wheel trailer for either fg or hpi baja,,i started building this months ago and it just been sitting around in the garage ive been saving bits here and there but now ive got the wheels from the beetle spare i can get moving on with it.

its a perfect size for my bug and just enough room left over for my toolbox but will fit a hpi baja without the box ive got to find away of mounting fg 4 fg hubs to the flatbed i wanted some sort of suspension but i think for ease its going to be fixed

i don't know what you would need car wise to pull this thing its massive and when loaded up with car and tools plus ive got room for mixing bottle it was built for display more than to be used but if you could pull it

ive still got tons to do as i want to put some sort of tyre rack over the front and enclose the front section to hide tool box/fuel paint it up same colours as car maybe fit a winch some lights mud guards and try make it look as scale as poss

heres a couple of pics its proped up and wheels are plonked ruffly where there going :lol:

A 4wd would do it :innocent:

its a mates it got jumped into a tree flat out and bent up badly ive had it a year now spent ages on it getting it straight again it was running so bent that only 3 wheels would touch the ground its a great car starts first second pull every 6 months lol and will finish every bash still running whatevers thrown at it,never gets cleaned or maintained but still keeps going the perfect fg

That is sooooo cool! Now all you need is a nice Monster truck to pull it with. I envy you guys that have the tools to work with metal. Really sweet mate. Hope to see a vid of it in action soon.

im going to put some touring car wheels on it and have the beemer pull it

it didnt need any tools other than a jigsaw hacksaw and drill a few rivets and the running gears all plastic fg parts,im going to finish it soon as i feel the need again i want a tyre rack and winch

That looks great Ren.
I think that might have to be my next project when ive finished the 4wd. A 4wd stadium pulling a 2wd monster!!
What did you make the trailer bed from??

sorry for late reply dude its just thin plywood and alloy scraps a few rivets and whatever fg bits knocking about for the axles

been bored so got the trailer out for something to do,,both fg's are finished for now lol,,,,so i dusted the trailer off and got working on a few changes it was sitting far to high on the fg off road wheels so got a cheap set of on road wheels with shagged tyres for £3.50 posted for a set of 5 so i made a few little mods to get them on its even got a spare mounted just incase it ever gets used and incase i ever get a flat tyre,,also bent the back end down to make it easy to get the beemer on

next jobs are to make the tyre rack above the bm's bonnet make some sort of winch and mud guards and maybe a under trailer box of some sort that holds the mini jack and axle stands then get it all painted up,,,,god i really need a life
