Just had email today from Fg, it would appear they have a buyer, a French company T2M there moving all production to France, I wonder if they will develop some new designs?

Said that they held out for somebody of suitable calibre and quality before committing .... let's hope so.

The initial standards for scale and durability are unequalled even now - long may it continue.
The 5ive appears excellent, and other models ... so there is competition in kind, which is healthy!

That so-called 5ive-R should really be 4.3-R or thereabouts - scale totally lost.

They're a French rc distribution company from what I've read they are one of FGs distributors already, also distribute Carson, Tamiya, OS,

I was talking to an FG distributer last friday in the UK. He was telling me FG have not been taken over. T2M have just bought ALL their stock to sell on.

The email I received, stated production would start in France week 13 of 2014, all future development etc would be done by t2m, I'm trying to upload the PDF newsletter they sent me but not working

Well there it is in black and white. So glad the fg brand will carry on, no need to panic buy all the marder/baja parts anymore
