fg marder electronics cutting out? HELP

i got a fg marder with 2 jr 590 throttel/brake servos and 2 hitech stering servos. powered of a 5 cell homemad battery pack. For some reason when i am driving it the servos keep cutting out. intermittently aprox every 20 seconds. seemes to be lots of torque on my steering servos so it doe sent aper that the battery is week. I just cant figure it out. any ideas? also iam using a spektrum 3000 rx and a dx3 tx. I already replsced the rx thinking that may of been the problem but NO :(:(. iam completely lost:rolleyes:
 
thanks another member on a londonrc told me he thinks it 's a battery issue. I was also told just to switch to lipo any advise. is it required?
 
Lipos are good mate but you would need new charger plus you need to get to now how lipos work and how to use them so it's all new really mate.

my triton eq just showed up today lol . i just bought a e revo brushless and i awaiting 3s 5000 50c lipos to show up for it . i got a buddy who said i will need a lipo cut off for my small servos to handle the lipo power on the fg. I may just stick with the 5 cell and buy a new battery. Love my new charger i charged my DTX 5000 nmh in 10 min. My other charger took about a hr lol. I will try and test my battery tonight and try and narrow it down. Iam thinkin its got to be a battery issue. IT only shuts down for 2-3 seconds and then it all works again for a maybe 1 min at most snd then off again. seemes not to happen when the motor is not running???? does that mean anything:o

Sounds like you know quite alot about chargers and battery's mate.

The problem happens when you have engine running is probabley down to vibration from the motor but test all your wires first with a volt meter, tester, then try a battery or borrow one.

well it was the battery. i took off the wrapping and one battery was blowen up and the connector connecting the batterie to the others corroded off!!! is had nickle cadium batteries. i have a spare 6 cell nmh. will it do the trick??? or do i need a Nickle cadium or lipos to run ther servos. I plane on buying the proper lipo, but for short term use with the nmh work?
 
got it installed last night seemes to work good. Just installed my new fg pipe last night:D:D:D couldnt giver a go was 1:00 am when i finished, and pouring rain all morning, and iam assumming its going to be louder then the stock can exhaust . if it dried up a bit as soon as i get off work today iam givener a go. Cant wait lol. trying to post pictures of my machine but when i try and upload attachements i get this message "(Your file of 1,019.4 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 97.7 KB for this filetype."" can anyone tell me whats wrong, or how or what to do?

Use photobucket or similar for the pics bud they resize them for you!
