fg \ mcd\ rampage compatibility

Does anyone know what the compatible parts are on the mcd\fg \ rampage, I was looking on a site (engage rc) and it says that the engine mount , gear , brake assembly is compatable with redcat? the pinion \ brake shaft is one piece and would be a nice uprgrade to the redcat setup , and the retension of the gear sets looks to be better. would like to know before I purchase the assembly instead of taking a gamble that the web site is correct on compatability.
 
I have a fair bit of experience with FG, other than the obvious stuff like engine and electrics nothing is compatible.

I believe the redcat is a clone (or partial clone) of the MCD so there would be a large number of interchangable bits there.
 
The Redcat gear train is similar, but not the same as MCD, so it is not incompatable. Especially now that we have changed the gear retantion completely different than MCD.
