Hey everyone,
I have the comp FG Monster which came with the FG tunning pipe. Just wanted to know any1's input as to what exhaust pipe will be a good match for a stock 26cc zenoah engine. Any advice will be appriciated.

thanks
Mike

When I started last year, I read about various pipes, and that this is where MOST of any power gains can be made.
I started seeing mention of DDM Dominators. I contacted them to ask which is better. They told me the high end gains nearly all of the power the low end one does, plus is a blast at the top end.
I ordered one and it came. LOOKS GREAT.
Some people have issues fitting them, but mine fitted well enough for no modifications - it's actually touching the roll cage upright now and that's getting a tad 'remoulded' which I'll have to look into.
Sound? Your call.
Some people are in relatively urban areas and say it's too noisy?
I just say that if noise is an issue, go electric!! :clown::clown:

Ok, so which DDM pipe do I get because I believe there are several ones. Can anyone show me a link?

I e-mailed Brad of DDM.
He himself said get the high-end.
You get roughly all of the low end gains of the low-end pipe, plus it's WILD at the top - he wasn't joking!!
Hyperpete's going to put a vid up later on of my 'beast' flying at Otterspool - there was a roll as well, but no injuries!!
Alan.

So which pipe do I need from the DDM website which you are talking about?
I have the Monster truck model.

KK, which pipe are you using??

Anyone know what the difference is between JETPRO, DDM and SAMBA pipes??
Which is better?

I'm using the torque pipe on my MT because thats what it came it. Got it used. I bought the top end for my Marder because from what i read that was a great all around pipe that i could get real easy. I might switch to another top end pipe on my MT but im just not sure yet. Saving up the funds for a 4x4 kit first.

Gotcha...Why is the 4x4 kit so expensive ? Approx 400$??

When i go to Hobby thek website, the difference between 2WD MT ($699euro) and 4WD MT ($799euro) = 100$ difference.

Any thoughts?

You need to look at all of the parts you get in the kit.
It's like a complete rebuild of your truck, not a simple 'conversion'.
There is very little that is compatible between 2WD and 4WD - I believe this is a serious error on FG's part.
(YES, I would have liked to convert mine to 4WD. I've so much alloy on my 2WD that I would like to keep, but most would have to be 'binned', which is ridiculous.)

I have Jet Pro, Samba, and VRC pipes here. Love them all for different reasons. I choose silenced versions of the pipes. I don't see any loss in power and prefer being able to hear my surroundings.

Personally I hate the loud pipes. We had too many complaints with my bud and his baja with his dom. the dom actually hurts when it's running close to you

As said above. The DDM top will give you the same gains as the low plus the mid and high. The best deal that you can find on the DDM pipe will be on ebay from DDM.

I run the DDM top end on my FG MT, awesome power but crazy loud.

Id like to see what the FG tuning pipe is like.

well i have the FG tunning pipe and I would like some input from any1 who knows if it is good or not???

I love the DDM pipe..i have it on my BAja 5B and its veryyyy loud :clown:

You will find a power gain with the DDM compared to the FG. You will also find a noise difference. The FG sounds silenced compared to the DDM. Keep that in mind with any of the other pipes.
