FG Monster Truck options

I don't know what all the K&N fuss is about. I've used them on all my cars and never had a problem in 10 years of off road racing.

The only time you can have a problem is racing in the rain - the simple fix is to cut up a coke bottle and slide that over the end.

I use the standard FG filter now which is very good but I only use it because it comes with the car, the foams come pre glued and they're only pence to buy.

A K&N filter is like anything in the RC world, use it right and you won't have problems with it.

cant go wrongg with the stock FG filter, TGN redeck, i used this combo for years with no probs at all just make sure you after each session, you clean & re-oil the filter

Stock FG filter and an outerwears style bag outside and not had any dirt in yet..
just got to keep on top of maintenance and keep it clean and oiled..
